Formed in 2023 out of an environmental discussion group, Maidstone CAN aimed initially to start a Repair Cafe at the Market Hall, Lockmeadow, which it did in the January of 2024. The group has continued to meet each month at what it calls it's Maidstone CAN Chat and is constantly expanding it's portfolio of initiatives in Maidstone to help the environment and respond to climate change.
